How they work
We can straighten teeth using a series of nearly invisible aligners that are custom-made to your teeth for comfort. Impressions of your teeth are taken and a sequence of aligners are produced. These are used mainly for adults as they can obstruct eruption of children’s teeth.
These aligners are replaced every 2 weeks and your teeth will move gradually towards the final projected position prescribed by your Orthodontist. They are comfortable, clear and removable unlike fixed braces.
In some cases with severe teeth displacement they will have a limited ability to produce precise correction.
How are they fitted?
This is achieved by using the latest computer technology.
The very accurate impression will be taken and a bespoke brace made.
There will be up to 20 numbered clear plastic trays for each arch.
Each numbered arch is to be worn for a period of at least 2 weeks for effective tooth movement.
